On Tuesday 18th June, year 6 children from trust schools; Shaw, St Georges, St Marys and Seend attended a leavers service at Salisbury Cathedral. The service was led by Bishop Andrew and each school had chosen some year 6 pupils to lead the procession with their school's banner. We were treated to some drama and prayers by selected children and the hymns we sung were jubilant!
Following the service, pupils joined one another for lunch on the cathedral green in the sunshine. Finally, pupils were able to take part in a reflection trail around the cathedral in groups, learning about some of the history of the cathedral, which the children really enjoyed.
Big Thank you to Sailsbury Diocese!
